Thompson McKinnon Building A seven story reinforced concrete building built by First Wisconsin Bank as an annex to their property next door to the north at 735 N. Water St. In a unique situation the utilities for both buildings was originally combined into this newer building. This caused problems in 1995 when separate owners filed lawsuits to divide utility costs. The problem was resolved in 2002 when Compass Properties bought both buildings. The building sat vacant from the early 1990's until 2010. In 2010 Gold's Gym completely renovated the building into a new central gym facility.
