Downtowner Motor Inn

A ten story, 252 room hotel built for oil tycoon, Emory Clark and originally operated by the Downtowner hotel chain headquartered in Memphis. The building was constructed of reinforced concrete and had a shell of tinted glass. It has since been occupied by Howard Johnson, Holiday Inn and is now a Doubletree Hotel.
