Building History Detail
Gross Building

An eight story office building built for hardware merchant, Philip Gross. The north wall of the building was actually the south wall of the neighboring Toy Building. When the Toy was demolished in 1939 a new wall was built to cover the now missing wall. This building, along with the Bartlett building to the east and the former National Bank building to the west have been combined and fully remodeled into the Hampton Inn and Suites.
