Building History Detail
Juneau Park

Chicago landscape gardener H.W.S. Cleveland created the original plans for the park in 1871. It was named Juneau Park in honor of Solomon Juneau in 1884 and more extensive landscaping plans were developed by Middlemass and Laing at that time. Much has been modified of the original design of the park which was much more Victorian in design with ponds and bridges.
