Michigan Flats

A four story brick flat building moved from the northwest corner of Michigan and Jackson by contractor Henry Buestrin. It was moved from the site of the Federal Building after being purchased by H A J Upham in an auction. The building was originally a three story flat but after it was moved it was raised and an extra level for stores was built below it.
