Building History Detail
Broadway Building

This was the first office for Northwestern Mutual Life. It was a five story high building built of gray limestone. It was built with a mansard roof although this was partially burned in a fire on March 22, 1901 and was removed and rebuilt to make a complete floor. The building was eventually cut down to a two-story building in 1940 and was ultimately demolished.
