Metropolitan Block

A four story brick and stone building built in a romanesque revival style for Attorney F W Cotzhausen. Stores were on the ground floor and the upper floors were used for offices and club rooms with four large lodge halls with sixteen foot tall ceilings. The cornerstone was laid on June 21, 1890. A fire on December 20, 1975 gutted the building.
