City Bank Building

A two story bank occupied by the City Bank until 1965 when it merged with American City Bank & Trust. In 1966 it was bought by Association Life Insurance who had headquarters there. Sampson Investments bought the building in 1986 but by 1997 it was vacant and under foreclosure by the bank. It was demolished to make way for a proposed Embassy Suites hotel that was never built and is currently a vacant lot.
